Home Advisor  is  a  pre-screaning  company  and  a  referral  service. 

First,  to  join  the  Home Advisor  Team,  Every  company  applying  MUST  pass  a  strict  screening  process.   Home Advisor  checks ,  in  the  professional  aspect,  everything  from  licensing  on  state  and  local  levels,  Insurance   certifacates,  educational  requirements, and state  and  federal  certifacation  requirements.

Then,  A  personal  investigation  looks  into  the  business  owners  personal  background,  checking  for  violent  and  criminal  convictions,  complaints  against  the  business,  judgements  and  the  overall  character  of  the  business  owner. 

Only  after  these  requirements  are  met,  will  Home Advisor  allow  a  company  to  join  the  ranks  of  a  Home Advisor  Approved  Professional. 

This  assures  you  the  customer,  that  the  company,  and  more  importantly,  the  PERSON  you  choose  as  a  contractor,  will  in  fact  deliver  what  they  are  contracted  to  do,  and  then  honor  the  warrenty  should  a  problem  arrise. 

This  affiliation  costs  you  nothing.  Your  referral  is  free,  there  is  no  'premium'  added  to  Home Advisor  jobs,  and  you  have  the  option,  after  the  project  is  completed,  to  rate  our  company  on  the  Home Advisor  Web  Site.   Its  a  service  and  system  that  provides  a  win-win  game  plan  for  both  the  customer  and  the  contractor.  It  eliminates  the  guess  work  of  the  local  newspaper  and  yellow  pages  in  choosing  a  reputable  contractor  for  your  project.  It  reduces  your  chore  of  looking  into  a  contractor  for  legal  and  ethical  requirements.
